Can Jay Johnson save us?

(Bumping this thread from the end of January)

I guess the answer is "nope".

You mean the Jay Johnson that half the board wanted to run off(ironically) after the Miss state game last year?

Like clockwork: LSU loses a game, then fans on the rant proclaim the sky is falling.

A real collapse would be if we didn't even make the tourney. This is nothing like 08 or 20 in football or even 10 in baseball. This team still has everything to play for.

It's the "next year's curse." All teams are afflicted to a certain extent-- you can find numerous examples in all sports: New York Mets in 1969, then 1970; US Olympic Hockey in 1980 v. 1984; New York Jets 1969 v 1970, and many examples in LSU sports-- the 2007 football champions were followed by the 2008 team which was pure a@@.

There are a number of reasons a team rarely repeats as a champion: even the greatest college coach of all time (Will Wade) wasn't immune to the "next year's blues."

What amazes me is the amount of people who really care about woman's basketball.

The season isn't over. Why are you melting? They haven't even reached the post season yet. My god people cannot handle losses which is embarrassing.

We’re top 10, that’s a collapse? Well guess we can’t all be as successful as you certainly are in life.

Shut up woman . They’ll be fine . They lost 2 pretty key players for the season . The bench will get better . They’re still a top 10 team

This is Nicolastiger level bad take.

Maybe you are trolling, but if that's the case I can't comprehend why someone would think it's funny to make themselves look like one of the biggest morons on the entire board. What exactly is there to gain out of that?
