Solid post Gumbo.

I'm not in Arizona but the same principle applies. If I felt the party was fighting on my behalf, I'd be the first to step up with financial contribution.

But no way am I giving a penny to the GOP. Instead, I'll continue to donate to individual candidates who are looking out for the voter.

My representative Matt Rosendale is a perfect example. I have no problem throwing that guy a few bucks.

That and they stole the election with election fraud shenanigans... but sure.

His fiscal voting record makes him far more of a fiscal conservative than Lake.

On the issues - McCain

Lakes only "right wing" position is the border.

I didnt. But hes far more along the spectrum than Lake, who you support.

Who knocked doors for Obama 4 years prior to Trumps election and is a classic RINO.

How are you determining Lake's voting record?

Look - I have listened to a lot of what she has to say for the past 4 years.

I have not noticed one comment from her that is not 100% in support of conservatism.

you aver she was an Obama fan-gal = what is the source for this? did she vote for Obama?? = I dunno - but I would like to see a LOT of Obama voters finally 'see the light' and come to our side now.

Do you have any evidence she is a charlatan??? - if so - what is it ????

This doesn't happen accidentally.

Similar to what they want to do with 2A. Simply cut the fuel line (ammunition) and mission accomplished.

Now just swipe $$ from the State GOP's and once again, mission accomplished.

To see you heavy breating for McCain while demeaning Lake is sort of hard to reconcile.

methinks you have some unresolved issues you are struggling with -

She knocked doors for Obama.

quote:

“Is it true that Kari Lake … was she an Obama supporter? I keep thinking that can’t be true because President Trump endorsed her and I don’t know her,” said Ingraham in an interview with Lake’s primary opponent, Karrin Taylor Robson, during her show, The Ingraham Angle. “She could be the greatest person ever. I have no idea. She, I know, she says a lot of very kind of conservative things now. But did she support Obama?”

Robson said Lake supported Obama.

“She did. She donated to Obama,” said Robson. “She knocked doors for Obama.”

“WHAT?” exclaimed Ingraham.

Do you really need any more information about her?

quote:

“Her political life and career has been quite interesting from Democrat to independent to Republican to Democrat and, quite frankly, she found God, guns the GOP about a day and a half before she decided to run for governor,” said Robson.

Probably over half the people that vote Democrat, especially Obama have no idea why they vote the way they do other than this is how their friends are voting.

Lake voted for Obama because she was probably apolitical at the time and surrounded by Obama voters given the fact she was a local news anchor and in the media industry.

Once leaving the peer pressure environment and becoming a little more educated on politics it appears she has done a 180 politically. I have no reason not to believe her.

I'm not, dont be so dumb.

All I said is his background is more conservative than Lakes, who literally band wagoned herself into the GOP with Trump.

Stop supporting literal RINOs.

But miraculously her ideology went from uber wokeness to MAGA in a few years. Its a miracle!

Nah, its pure opportunism.

quote:

Lake was a member of the Republican Party until November 3, 2006,[32] when she changed her registration to become an independent. She registered as a Democrat on January 4, 2008, the day after the Iowa Democratic presidential caucuses were won by Obama.[32] Lake returned to being a Republican on January 31, 2012. She explained leaving the Republican Party in 2006 as a reaction to the then-ongoing Iraq and Afghanistan wars. She had supported John Kerry in 2004 and Barack Obama in 2008.[32] She also made several donations to Democratic presidential candidates.[32][33] After launching her campaign for governor in 2021, Lake cited Trump, Ronald Reagan, and Arizona Republican Party chair Kelli Ward, all former Democrats, as precedent for her party-switching.[34]

This is so childish.

On brand for MAGA. I show you solid information that indicates a RINO and opportunist, and you defend her and claim she personally offended me.

You showed an independent who wasn’t down with GOP war mongering.

Turns out she was right, before the rest of us.

Going with the Dems is a bad look, but she’s right now. You should be applauding that, not trying to dunk on her or her motives.
