Purdy bounced a ball off a defender’s face mask for a 40 yard gain.

Shanahan been saving that one. Not sure what the problem is.

Idk why Lamar didn’t take off when plays would break down? He waited and waited. He just had to make a guy miss. Especially late in the game.

Purdy ain't even clutch bro. Lamar makes amazing plays bro. Not even close bro. Anybody could make those plays bro.

I like Lamar…..electric player….closest thing to Michael Vick that I can recall.
But, to be honest, if Lamar takes the ACT, he may not get you that 14.

For whatever reason, Lamar goes away from what got them all the success during the regular season.
Gus Edwards getting three touches is what lost them the game. Not Lamar

This is a wild stat.
Ravens were so good that Lamar never ATTEMPTED a pass while trailing by more than 8 points the entire regular season.

I don’t think a single NFL team would take Purdy over Lamar. Seriously
I'm not so sure, not even trying to be a hater. Even if for arguments sake we say Purdy/Jackson make the same salary.
2019 regular season Jackson was absolutely fantastic and deserving of the MVP title with 66.1% completion, 3,127 pass yards, 36TD/6INT, and 1,207 rush yards & 7TDs with 6.9ypc. Outside of this one amazing season Jackson has never had any other great seasons passing, only eclipsing the 3,000 yard mark 1 other time. That said they finished 2019 with the #1 seed and lost their first game to #4 seed Tennessee. With Jackson as starter Ravens are 2-5 in the playoffs. QB play is never the only reason a team wins or loses, but when you have a QB that has some limitations passing consistently from the pocket you have to compensate & build your team & spend money in other areas accordingly. As of this point you also have to consider after 6 seasons of Jackson that he has hit his ceiling and is slowly going down, just logical from up at the peak 2019 season, and he will get you a great regular season record but going against playoff caliber defenses & coaches more often than not they can game plan to contain his offense.
Purdy in only 2 seasons has proven to be very poised in the pocket and takes what the defense gives him and is an efficient passer.

To the guy who thinks Brock Purdy gets blown up by the KC defense in two weeks. I say good luck to that. The only D that completely shut Purdy down all year was the Ravens. And the Chiefs D isn’t as good. Fact. Browns slowed him down. Otherwise the Niner offense had its way all season. The core stars of the 49ers remember 54. Just like they did last years NFC Championship game vs the Eagles. We saw what happened to them December 3rd. The recently vulnerable appearing Niner Defense is still loaded with talent and highly capable. If it plays even a mediocre game in Vegas and the 49er offense does what it has all season long, the Niners will have their vengeance. Mark it. Put the mortgage on it.

Technically Hurts in 2017 but Tua came in for him

Lamar trying to throw 30+ times is what cost them the game. Dude is not a pocket passer. I get trying to protect your career and not get injured, but in the playoffs you do what you need to win. Purdy took off running when no one was open.

He also has a much better play caller.
I think what you meant was he allows the OC the opportunity for more dynamic playcalling.
Lamar is who he is. He will win a lot of games because his style of play controls the clock and doesn't allow a lot of scoring opportunities for the other teams. If you couple that with a great defense you will win 11-13 games a year.
However, Lamar is handcuffed on what he is able to do. He cannot make the throws necessary to elevate a team this late in the year. Most teams that win the Super Bowl, or even go, can stop the run and can make plays in the passing game. Both of which kill a team like the Ravens. You simply have to be able to capitalize on big play opportunities that Lamar just cannot make happen with his arm.

People forget Purdy is in his second season. Took them to the NFC his first season and the SB his second. Why doss he get shite on again?

Purdy had a better completion %, more yards and more TDs than Jackson this year. You know the most important stats when it comes to QB play.
If Lamar had the same story as Purdy, NFC championship first year and Super Bowl second year all while being Mr Irrelevant you would not hear about anything else.
