You are the GM. Post your trades or non trades for this deadline.

Ive been pretty clear on mine:
1st Trade:
Cant give 40+ million to Brandon Ingram. It would legit put the franchise on a path to leaving the state.
You get a great 20M expiring in Bogdan for next year and you get your PG and Center position locked in for 3 years at a low rate (rookie cost control) excellent excellent reset. If Detroit wants picks frick it send them.
2nd Trade:
Larry moves to the break if need /Udonis Haslem category. We get our Center position on lock for the next 3 years. Again, if CLEVE asks for picks to take Dyson instead of Herb, frick them picks send them.
Our payroll for the next 3 years:
Have tons of room to do a lot of good things with the right configuration. Note the 31 Million in expirings come next year.
New Starting 5:
Allen
Zion
Trey
CJ
Ivey
Herb
Hawk
Duren
Bogdan (for a year)
Ryan

Detroit: Ingram, Zeller, EJ
Pels: Duren, Burks, Harris, 2-3 picks
Or
Detroit: Ingram, Jonas, Naji, EJ
Pels: Ivey, Duren, Burks, Bogi
Only two trades I would do with Detroit unless they’re willing to move Cade or Thompson

Duren
I know he’s really young and we still don’t have a huge sample size because he’s missed some games this year, but some of his rim protection stats are concerning. He’s in the bottom 5 of starting centers in FG% difference and bottom 3 in frequency of shots contested. His numbers are very similar in both to Ayton and Wendell Carter, neither of which would be considered rim-protectors. Those numbers are worse than Nance’s and actually worse than Jaxson’s in Hayes’ 2nd and 3rd years when he was playing more 5.
Again, he’s very young for his class, is a very good DReb though, seems to have the lateral movement to be switchable, and has shown some feel on the offensive end. Maybe getting him out of the dysfunction of DET he blossoms on the defensive end, but right now he’s not a rim protector

I haven’t looked that far into him, but I think long term he would be better than Stewart. I would take Stewart in place of Duren though along with a bunch of seconds if that were offered.

I wouldn't make any trades. I'd roll with what we got. I would give Val a one year extension (with a one year team option). See how they end the season..

Last thing the Pelicans need to do is trade one player for three.
I would offer a lot for Marrkanen
Nance, Daniels, Marshall, and four firsts for Markkanen.

I listen to a lot of Sacramento fans gush over Ingram and complain about their lack of size at the wing. While this is probably not fair value for BI, I think an addition of Keegan Murray and departure of BI can unlock this teams potential.
I would also reroute Harrison Barnes and try to add a backup pg or big (Tyus Jones/Nic Claxton)
The 40+ mil that BI wants goes to Trey and Keegan. I would say 20-25 mil a piece for both
A lineup of Z, Trey, Murray, Hawk, cj would be insane at certain points in the game

Would have to add a lot of picks but this is almost dream scenario for me

I think you would have to add BI.
Like BI, Daniels, and a couple of 1st. That is if we had an agreement on an extension.
Again I like our players, but I think this would fit th identity they want us to have.

I agree 100%. I don't think Brooklyn does it even with picks though........but a man can dream.

People really play franchise mode on 2K and think it makes them a qualified GM.

Y’all do know Griff ain’t doing shite? BI isn’t going anywhere. We going to double down and give him max money as well. Some of you fricks will never learn. Stop dreaming.

These are facts. But let us just pretend to be the GM lol.

As has been stated multiple times, a Markanennen trade is simply not feasible unless you’re sending out BI. We absolutely cannot pay 200 million dollars to 5 players, that is what Clippers are paying their entire fricking roster. The delusional trades need to just go

I see no possible universe where Sacramento trades Keegan Murray

Yeah agreed. They think Keegan has massive potential and I agree with them.

The same franchise that traded Halliburton and made more than a handful of questionable moves in the past? I’m telling you they like and value Brandon more than we do

They traded Haliburton because they had a log jam at PG, not because they didn’t think he was good. Murray fits their team perfectly and I promise you he is just not someone they want to move

I get what you’re saying but I think push comes to shove they would give us Sabonis over Keegan for BI. Personally they are a team that could use someone like BI. If we can convince them to give us Sabonis- he would be a nice small ball center next to Zion especially with his passing.

If Cleveland is open to moving Garland because of that same kind of log jam at PG, I think the Pelicans would be kind of stupid to not go for something like:
Ingram
Val
+ extras
For
Garland
Allen
Makes both teams fit much better imo
