Looking to upgrade my bow components

I'm looking to possibly upgrade my bow components. I bought a second hand PSE Brute Force. Mainly looking to upgrade the arrow rest and maybe the sights at some point this offseason. Currently has a Vapor Trail limb driver arrow rest and an IQ 5 pin.
Plan to go to Chaggs as soon as the season is over and get it properly tuned/fitted more precisely.
What are you guys using? There are so many options when looking around.

I have the QAD ultrarest integrate rest on my phase 4 and I’m happy with it. I’ve always had QAD ultrarests, and I’ve never had a problem with them. I tried a hamskea in the past, and it was decent, but I prefer QAD.
My sight is a UV3XL 3 pin, on a spot Hogg fast Eddie xl base. I’ve been happy with it. I keep my pins at 20,30,40 for hunting, and if I want to practice at longer distances I can dial it out.
I don’t see myself changing anything about my setup after this season. The only thing I plan to change on my bow is the strings. Im going to upgrade either to A3 or GAS strings.

If you mostly hunt with it, get a whisker biscuit.

If tuned properly, the Limb Driver is one of the best rests engineered. Fool proof and works like a champ. I’ve been using LD’s for close to 10 years and never had a problem. The higher end rests cost $150-175 today.
I use CBE single pin sights with micro adjustments (Trek Pro) … overkill for hunting but I have 100% confidence in my equipment… Elite E35 bow
IMO, get your bow tuned by a competent bow tech and you’re good to go.

Look into catfish strings. They are awesome, he is awesome to work with and I think they are one of the more cost friendly. I’m on my 3rd set of catfish strings between two bows. No twist peep or serving frays yet

Blaze that’s my plan first. After next weekend I’ll take care of that and then assess the situation.
Once I got the limb driver set up properly, I started having more consistent arrow flight. Killed a deer with it so it functions appropriately. Just want to get it dialed in.

I have whisker biscuits on both my bows. Never had an issue with them. As far as sights go, I used to think more is better. As my eyes got older the number of pins decreased. I'm down to 3 now. Never liked a pendulum sight tho.

Get it tuned and shoot it. Limb Driver rests are excellent.

I usually agree with got blaze but I really like qad rests. Easy to tune slipping it through a cable. Holds the arrow in the upright position fully captured.

When looking at a 3 pin vs a 5 pin, is the spacing between the 3 pins farther apart than the 5 pins?
Also how do you adjust for farther distances with a 3 pin? Is there a dial like on a scope?

I have a 3 pin black gold pro with dual indicators and I love it. If I had to buy another I might also consider the new lighter spot Hogg, ultraview, or HHA. Just think about how you will use it.
I like to use my center pin. Rolled all the way up, the three pins are 20, 30, and 40. And I mainly “dial” my center pin. With dual indicators though I always know what my bottom pin shoots for. At TAC or goofing around I can use my bottom pin if I’m in danger of hitting my fletching with the housing.

Depends if you buy a fixed 3 pin or a 3 pin that slides. Fixed pin only goes as far as the bottom pin is set. A slider allows for usually using the bottom pin to slide out as far as your bow is capable.
As far as pin gap, the top 3 pin gaps will likely be the same as a 5 pin sightif set to the same distances (ie 20, 30, 40)

It's amazing to me that anyone actually uses whisker biscuits. So many great drop aways out there.

I like to kill deer with my bow. The whisker biscuit helps me do that. Amazing.
Another great tool for killing deer is a pendulum sight. Just pick up the bow and shoot.
There’s a lot of great things available for shooting 3D that aren’t needed for southern whitetails.

I actually switched back to whisker biscuits on my bows from qad drop aways this year.
The qads are nice and shoot fine. The only issue is if I have to let down, the arrow rattles a little bit.
This cost me an opportunity at a mule deer this year and almost cost me a great whitetail buck. So i went back to the wb.
The whisker biscuit has been just as accurate in my hands out 70 yds.

Sights have been narrowed to the Fast Eddie and CBE Trek pro. Both in 3 pins.

I want to try the cbe trek pro as well

Spot Hogg 2 pin (vertical) has been amazing for me

Any reason you aren’t considering black gold or hha also? The black gold pro pins are really nice.

Not at all. Just from reading reviews/forums, price point, etc. I’m a novice at this so I’ll go dive into the 2 you mentioned.
