Bama's situation has everything to do with DeBoer not retaining staff, and not having guys that really recruit the south hard.
So far he's done exactly the opposite of what Kelly did.

but irregardless certainly is a word.
It is not a word. It is an uneducated conglomeration of the words "irrespective" and "regardless". Think about the roots of a "word" like "irregardless". It is nonsensical.

Is irregardless a word? Yes. It may not be a word that you like, or a word that you would use in a term paper, but irregardless certainly is a word. It has been in use for well over 200 years, employed by a large number of people across a wide geographic range and with a consistent meaning.

merriam-webster disagrees with you.

Once I hit irregardless I stopped reading; lost all credibility.

It's a word, A shitty double negative. regardless is without regard. ir added makes it, not without regard, which sounds as stupid as the person using it.

It’s irrespective or regardless.

That is why Merriam-Webster, and well-nigh every other dictionary of modern English, define this word. Remember that a definition is not an endorsement of a word’s use.
They also say it it is “nonstandard english…
Meaning of “irregardless” is regardless

So where are we at with the whole “irregardless” thing? Has it been refudiated yet? This thread has become unhabitable.

Anytime there is a word that is controversial enough to have it's own wikipedia page, it should be used.
Supposably, everyone on here is expected to be an English major these days.

No one who uses the word "irregardless" would also use the phrase "well-nigh." So, it was easy for everyone to figure out it was a paste.
When you type "irregardless," the redlines appear underneath to designate that it is not a real word.

Negative. NIL caused it. Without NIL, Saban doesn't lose his advantage and never retires.
