Hoffman is 86 currently. Damn.
Never would have guessed he was almost 90.

Why wouldn't you just post this in March?

yeah the college years were rough. Eric at JA High was a stud, cool guy ladies man that everyone looked up to. then he turned into a bumbling buffoon. Angela and Rachel were meh and not nearly attractive enough to overcome it.

For me I'd rank the Boy Meets World "eras" going by Cory's age:
1) High School
2) College
3) Middle School
Although, I really enjoyed it all from start to finish. I'm in a pretty slow re-watch right now and some of the life lessons from Feeny and Mr. Matthews age well and hit home a lot more in my early 30s.

HS is obviously teh best but man I'd have to go middle school next. There were 3 seasons of HS and 3 of college (I think?) so middle school has a lot less runway to work with than the others but I feel like it was so much more impactful. When I think of middle schools years I think of:
-really getting acclimated to all the main characters and forming bonds with them
-minkus
-cory and topanga's budding relationship
-shawn's toublred relationship with his family and his growing attachemnt to the matthews
-tons of youthful/coming of age wisdom imparted by feeny
When I think of college years I think of:
-jack shpowign up, kinda hit or miss
-everyone's in a relationship so there's not a lot of drama with any
-rachel and angela neither of which I particular like
-feeny being in college now so not being able ot offer the same kind of wisdom as he did to children
-eric being retarded

Fishel, Strong, and Friddle are doing a rewatch podcast for those who don’t know and it’s actually really good. As opposed to shite like Office Ladies where they vapidly take detours about the history of the serving dish when there is a serving dish in a scene, they are pretty thorough when breaking down the scenes. Plus they have good chemistry
