Now rank the offenses they played against vs the defenses our offense went against.
Hint, we had to have played the worst set or 2nd worst set of offenses in the nfl. Its a sham that we werent a top 5 defense in yards per play against that schedule. Itll show more next year when our competition level goes up

The offense trended way better down the stretch. Which isnt crazy once you consider carr finally got comfortable with the offense, and i dont even like carr.
We had the 15th ranked dvoa defense against the best possible schedule of offenses? Think about that

I can throw any stats out the window after watching this year.
To my old eyes the offense under performed the defense.
Both under performed the ST unit.
Excuses are everywhere this year. Look what Cam did for the D this year etc.

Dennis hung on to Pete the whole season do that he could make him the fall guy at years end.

The big difference in turnover differential was also skewed I think.
Like for example we got five against the bears.
So while we were +11, they kind of came in flurries in some games
One thing that I was satisfied with is that we took better care of the ball by not turning it over on offense as much.

This move should have been made 4 weeks into the season. It was obvious that PC was not up for this job without SP backing him. Loomis and Allen completely screwed this season hoping things would get better. All this indecision did was Fk the Saints from a top 10 pick and a chance for a quality QB. This organization is screwed.

I still find it amazing that all of the top 12 teams in lowest points given up per game went to the playoffs except the Raiders and the Saints. DA's former and current team
