Orgeron would kill it there. And by kill it, I mean kill the program.

Arthur Smith is a UNC grad which might make some sense.

UNC is a great job

As long as you're happy being the 2nd favorite child on campus, and content with finishing 2nd or 3rd every once in a while in a pathetic conference, then, yes, it's a great gig.

Chapel Hill area is a nice place to live.

Jeff Traylor would be on my list

Traylor's specialty is Texas recruiting and HS connections. He would be a ideal for Arkansas or Baylor when those open next year. I just don't see him as a good fit at UNC.

Heels' first call should be Chadwell and make him tell you no.

If you don't go with someone like Herman how about Rich Rod?

Hear me out: Les Miles.

While I don't know if this is true, I was informed that he is suffering from cognitive decline, and I'm not just speaking of his normal verbiage while coach at LSU or Kansas.

It's an awful job. Just like Duke and Kentucky. All are basketball schools, with little talent atvyhe HS football level. Julius Peppers and Kelvin Bryant are the best players ever to come from UNC. I couldn't name anyone else.

UNC would be a great job for Urban Meyer to get back into coaching.

It’s crazy that if that happens and Harbaugh goes to the NFL that only Kirby and Dabo will be active college coaches with national championships.

A friend of mine, who is close to someone that is around the program. This person is very closely connected with the higher ups.

I’ve always considered UNC a sleeping giant. It’s an attractive school to me for the right guy to build a solid program.
