Where is the best place to get some Bass to stock a 35 acre pond deepest depth is about 4 foot deep

Edit. Pond use to be a crawfish pond. Gave that up and stocked it with bass.
Caught some hammers last winter. Unforeseen circumstances and drought and lost everything including my Lil brother.

Don’t put bass first or they will eat everything else you put

As mentioned Shepherds/Acadiana in Maurice. Suttles fish hatchery in MS, Dunn’s in AR, American Sportfish in AL - I’ve bought from these. The out of state hatcheries do make deliveries to Louisiana.

Go catch some at the lake and throw them in, then add some bream/shinners.

Dunn's Fish Farm
Text Dunns to 833.634.0387 and they'll send automated texts on when they are delivering to your area.

The pond was built in 1992. We crawfished it until about 10 years ago. It used to be drained every year except a little area in the middle of the pond that always held water.

We put some bass in there about 8 years ago. Never fished it until last year.

We have a pump that we fill the pond with, but some a-hole shot up the tractor that pumps the pond. My younger brother got in a wreck and was in the hospital for 5 months so no one worried about the pond, worst time to have a drought and we never pumped to keep the water level high enough to save the fish.
