So this guy shows New York “asking” for people to house “families”
Youtube
A few other channels have mentioned that the Feds are discussing rent caps and those mortgages through the Feds will be forced to take them in.
So I was worried about my VA., seems I’m ok. So, I wanted to know if this has ever happened before, where the Feds intervened in housing forcing people to take in “others”…
Well guess what, they have.
WW2 housing
“1943 the OPA had designated 370 rent control areas regulating some 11 million rented homes as well as 350,000 hotels and rooming houses.”
An act is already on the books to do it again
Wiki- emergency price control act of 1948

It's a fricking shame and they need deported yesterday. We're ruining our great country.
But as an aside, the adamantly opposed to abortion: if this were a crisis of babies, would you do your part and take one? Interesting dichotomy.

I’m hoping the feds force all the northerners to house the illegals in their homes, nothing better than getting a taste of what they voted for.

Yep. The white uber-educated wannabe socialite "were gonna save the world" arrogant douchebag ilk. They enjoy signaling how much they care and then under the table are cut throats that will screw anyone and everyone over for their own gain.

No, that's why it's called personal responsibilty.
You remove abortion for birth control purposes and people will start adapting if they understand they have no out other than adoption or being a parent.

This will not end well. For anyone.

Now, THAT is how you wake someone up. It’s all fun and games until you are forced to house a foreign family who might just kill you in your sleep- or rob you blind. Or both.

I understand that. But is having a mother who has zero interest in being a mother, a solution? We have enough leeches right now between illegals and welfare. We're stretched thin.
Making a woman "take responsibility" sounds great. Until those children are all welfare leeches.

I loathe the idea of abortion. I hate it.
But I'd rather have it than deal with the unintended consequences of abolishing it.

Why would anyone allow criminals to stay at their house?
Posted on 1/12/24 at 12:27 pm to Kolbysfan
Every damn Dim/Groomer who's not living in their parents basement should be required to house and support an illegal immigrant for 2-3 years on their dime.....they want this shite, they can pay for it.

They aren't "illegals". They are asylum seekers who have been processed and allowed to stay in the country until their hearing....in 7 years, or so.
Currently, we cannot legally deport them.
It's our asylum system that needs fixing more than illegals sneaking in.

This reminds me of the scene when Dr. Zhivago returns to his home in Moscow.

I am going to have a hearty laugh if Greg Abbot turns New York red

From article I initially attached “WW2”
Housing Projects Spring Up
During the war the federal government produced about two million dwelling units as homes for more than five million people. Many units were converted into apartments from existing buildings, but a sizeable amount resulted from new low-cost housing projects such as those constructed at Vanport. This sprawling community sprang up quickly on Portland's northern outskirts to provide housing for workers at the massive Kaiser Shipyards. With street after street of rental apartment houses, almost overnight the community became Oregon's second largest city

The asylum conundrum was created by openly inviting illegals by dems.
Kindly piss off.
