Haha, over 20 years ago.

Damn I can’t believe it’s been that long since I lived in Marietta.

But basically I knew a shite load of people at all the schools from playing soccer at United Quest and Metro North.

They might not be called those anymore though.

Good to hear.

Is Marist still a good school with a good football team? I remember years ago they were pretty good every year.

Nope. You see if someone has stupid money they are willing to just burn. Then make it look like a typo if you dont hit the fast lottery.

Yep. They made the semis again this year and Chadwick is still the HC. He has over 200 wins now.

$240 per mo in HOA is a deal breaker.

That's not actually bad considering all the shite it pays for that you'd have to otherwise pay for yourself in a detached subdivided neighborhood, water and sewer and lawncare, swimming pool, etc. And have covenants that prevent your neighbor from parking unregistered shite arse vehicles all over the street because he runs a half-assed car flipping business as a front for fentanyl sales.

East Cobb had the best school district in the mid to early 2000’s. I think Walton was highly rated. Is this still the case?

I’m very familiar with East Cobb. Walton and Pope might be the best two high schools in GA academically.

Solid school. RIP to the best motocross trails in Cobb county that used to be across the street, “the dips” . I used to run from the cops on my YZ125 down Post Oak Tritt and Holly Springs.. Frickers could never catch me.. Sgt. Archer was a real prick. Good times!

Graduated Lassiter in 94. Stuck a Jeep Cherokee up to the rocker panels in the dips. Took hours to get someone out there to pull it out.
