Why aren’t they using the word “fired”?

You don’t use the word fired with a coach that’s won 6 superbowls

I wouldn’t. He’s not far from the overall wins record. He also seems like the kind of guy that has no other hobbies or interests. I think he’s gonna try to find a new team with a decent qb situation

Bill Belichick will leave New England 15 wins shy of breaking Don Shula's NFL record of 347 wins as a head coach.

That’s 2 decent seasons.

Wouldn't be surprised if Bama scoops him up. The timing is perfect

How would you like to play 18 holes with those guys? I can imagine the stories and wisdom they could impart.

Saban did it the right way. He went out on a high note, but Bill should have retired sooner

Was just coming to post this. Shocker really after all Belichick has done in New England.

What have you done for me lately?

Does Belichick wants to be done? He's only a couple of seasons away from the all-time wins record. If he wants to coach, there's a number of teams who would hire him in a heartbeat.

Hell almost certainly continue coaching. 15 wins away from the all time record

Seems like the falcons are the most likely spot. Feels like they may be working on a trade based on the way they announced it and the falcons instantly starting to check off the Rooney Rule once BB was officially available
