I’d argue his recruiting is way overrated and his coaching is average. DBs known for not turning and looking for the ball at both LSU and UF.

Someone posted all his recruits and it was unreal. Maybe he didn't recruit as well the past few years under bad/questionable coaches, but he could probably still be great under the right leadership. At least I hope so.

You are correct. Everyone who is obsessed with him is suffering from a misplaced sense of nostalgia from the past. He sucked under CEO. He was fired by Sunbelt Billy. We need to stop recycling old coaches from the past.
