For all the gloom and doom frickasses from last night saying he would be out any type of significant length of time, a special gofrickyourself to you.

While I agree jumping straight to worst case is bad. But can't really blame us. Extended injuries are kind of a thing for this franchise.

To be fair he went through walk through which is a practice (good sign) but its also noncontact. I think they hold him out against Kings to be safe.

If anything he misses a game or two. This won’t be a week to week thing. I would guess he misses one game.

I hope they win but Sac will be at home and going extra hard considering we beat them 3 in a row. Plus we’ll be missing Jose and likely Zion.

Probably why he didn't seem to have his normal energy last night.

Ok that's good... I can deal with an illness... shite happens during cold & flu season

Glad it's not a random injury

given his injury history, it's absolutely normal to think that ANY injury to Zion could lead to him missing a chunk of time... sure, most of this fanbase is pretty gun shy anytime the words "Zion" and "injury" are in the same sentence, but some of the comments last night were in jest... i know my gif was, and while i can't speak for everyone, i do think that some here were also just joking...

I know when he twisted his ankle and missed a game, people started assuming the worst. When he was listed as questionable the next name, there were quite a few posts stating that he wouldn’t play again this season. That wasn’t in jest at all. Even though we could all tell it was a minor injury when it happened. Same thing occurred yesterday

Did he like have a hard fall or something? Outside of that I do not understand how you can sustain a leg bruise making you miss games.

I’m wondering if he may have taken a knee to the thigh. Having been “dead legged” quite a few times, it hurts like hell and needs to be worked out. If that was the case, I could see him not playing the rest of the game, especially at that point. But I would think he would play tomorrow if that’s what happened.

Agreed. Outside of a hard fall I can’t see it lingering to another game.
