Thanks Deathby TossDive225

I have added the Donation page to the orginal post. I'm sure he and his family would appreciate the support. I did not know as Lester stated he still cannot talk.

Thanks for posting the link. FWIW, it only took a couple of minutes to make a donation, and every little bit helps. No matter the amount, as Louie wrote, the family would surely appreciate the fact that Greg is still on the minds and in the hearts of all Tiger fans.

Judge, jury and executioner...sad you engage in nasty ad hominem attacks when TT was asking a legitimate question. Extra prayers for both you and Brooks!

No one should have taken that personally. Tarheel i'm sure most understood you were asking a simple question. Espcially this time of the year. All that being said, I just hadn't heard anything about the young man in a while. We were talking in another thread about being "set" at DB, which I think we have really added some imporvement from a personel standpoint. I started thinking about what this year would have looked like with an expierenced guy like Greg. I think it would have been a lot better. Also wanted to try and keep his memory fresh in the minds of Tiger fans that could help him out.

No problem. If anyone is curious the program runs through TAF, so you have to create a login if you don’t have one already but pretty quick & easy to do.

If 100 people donated $20, that’d be $2000 generated from someone creating a message board thread. A drop in the bucket, sure, but it’s something.

You know it wouldn't be a bad idea for Chicken or someone to sticky a donation link here and on the OT for a few weeks. You would definitely get a lot more than a drop in the bucket. Especially considering those that donate would likely share on their social media

Unfortunately this goes on way too much in here! The personal attacks are ridiculously bad at times!

I know he was still at St Jude over the holidays.

I don’t know anything about medulla blastoma but unfortunately I’m familiar with gilo blastoma.

I’m just glad he was able to qualify as a patient at St Jude. He is at the right place for what he has.

Rebel,

Prayers for you and your family. Glad to hear the update about St. Jude. That is excellent news.

Thanks for the input.

He’s at St Jude. He isn’t incurring medical costs. But I’m
sure his family needs help keeping the bills at home paid while they are in Memphis for his treatments.

Can LSU, for instance, change his status some sort of way so that he doesn't count toward 85 scholarship players,

He is not going to be on scholarship anymore because he has to be enrolled as a full time student. I would be very surprised if LSU isn’t helping him and his family out somehow

For now, not directly. However the travel, trauma, unforeseen loss of earning potential, possible out of pocket costs both shorter and longer term… plenty of reasons

There are multiple apartments where his family can stay during his treatment.

Ronald McDonald House, Target House, Grizzly House etc.

But the family still incurs a great deal of cost. Electricity bill from home keeps coming.

Still easy to go bankrupt with free medical services.
