Read the fine print: excludes the best of the cheap Chinese crap.
FTR there’s a “nice” new HF fairly near me so I buy junk there pretty often. If you need a tool you won’t use much or don’t know, it’s the way to go. And actually their protection plan is good. They actually told me to bring the tool back right at the end of the period even if it’s fine and they’ll just hand you a new one. I’ve always declined.
Other good buys on sale (which is always)
Tarps, moving blankets, trailer stuff, straps, extension cords, hoses.
And it got their Bauer (excluded from your coupon) stacking tool boxes. Pretty solid for price (on sale).
Have a Happy Chinese New Year!

Their quality has gone up some over the years.
Still wouldn't buy most things I would plan to use alot from there like standard hand tools and normal bits or power tools like drills, circular saw, etc.
But it's great for some stuff. I've gotten extension cords, stepper bits, air hose, air hose reel, cheap wire brushes, chisels, plastic tarps, hplv sprayer, and a bunch of other stuff from there that was either something I'd only use a few times or was just a simple thing that won't really break like an extension cord, etc.
It has its place.

Zip ties. Don’t forget the zip ties. It’s the sophisticated man’s duct tape. So incredibly cheap compared to everywhere else.

Probably, that or bulk online. I have so many left from when I was younger I haven't needed to restock in awhile, lol.

Oh nice, I can get a cheap floor back and….. no.

Yea missed the disclaimer. Needed a hammer drill for a one time project but they’re excluded.
This is a good deal though. Jump starter for the truck.

I bought a cheap air compressor from there a few weeks ago. Mostly just to air up various tires around the house. I hate those things at the gas station. It does the job.

Harbor Freight has saved me a lot of money in “hobbies” that didn’t pan out.
Want to start messing around on a lathe? Catch a sale and grab their table top one for 100 bucks. You can upgrade if you keep up with it, etc.

Harbor Freight has always been cheap Chinese crap. When we grew in a new golf course, 24 years ago, the cheap arse owner bought us Harbor Freight tools for the shop. They all sucked and broke eventually. They used to have a brand called Chicago. Absolute worse. From electric tools, to screw drivers to jacks. I think the only thing that survived was the tool box for the shop.
Luckily when we hired our first mechanic he brought his own tools ir we'd have been screwed.
Needless the say the cheap arse owner sold the course after a couple years. What a con man.

It's good for things you don't use that often. I needed a basin wrench maybe 6 months ago. I might use this thing 3 times in my life so no need to get a Milwaukee one.

I wouldn't use HF tools if I made my living with tools, but for the occasional need that gets used rarely and isn't in the critical path I think they're great

Tarps are solid.
Use the big canvas paint tarp all the time.
Perfect for tools you don’t use often.

Yep, and there are some quality products in there. If you google it, you can find articles and websites devoted to identifying the good from the crap.

You mean Chicago Electric and Pittsburgh Steel products are NOT made in USA?

Used it yesterday, but thought it was just for my item, wasn't looking that closely at it.
Just Google an item you are looking for with the words harbor freight and it will show up with discount applied if eligible.
