Ok but it seemed pretty clear to me that Heard was probably going to be a starter somewhere next season (probably at RT with Jones moving inside is my guess).

It is the flu. The medicine is used for anyone who wants to get over the flu with the least amount of misery. He is young and healthy, so his immune system is very capable of handling it. There is no long term sequala. If he gets in the game and does not feel well enough to play well that is another story. He already has had a number of days to convalesce. But as they say in coach speak it will be a game time decision. On another note, I wonder if they routinely vaccinate the players for the flu?
