Aren’t flu vaccines mandatory in public Louisiana colleges and universities?

You are wrong! He wasn’t sitting on the bench and was pretty much guaranteed a starting spot, just not exactly where he wanted. Like they said, the NFL likes versatile O Lineman and he would prolly start at left tackle once Will left. Comparing him to Burrow is stupid, grad transfer fighting for a spot to play at all vs a freshmen that was playing just not the position he wanted. That’s a shitty move by Heard and has got nothing to do with spoiled fans!

Some of you can be dense at times..

When the coach tells you, "keep working, your opportunity could be after the next snap, the next game, you never know when you're name is called but be ready!"

Lance sits at home because he doesn't want to wait

fast forward..if Cambell can go because of the flu guess who gets to play LT in the bowl?

We used to travel to every bowl game but now if you don't have a chance at the NC then go home. Got a Heisman QB? Leave @ 1/2 time??we are a spoiled arse bunch ????

It would be nice if LSU had an elite backup Tackle that could…oh wait a minute, we do have one. He just couldn’t be patient.

Screw that he sold out on his team for self interests I hope Heard is gone regardless. I wouldn’t do him any favors helping him find a school either ship his arse and say good luck

That all being said, is LT today still as coveted as LT was 15 yrs ago in the NFL?

Naw.

Also the NFL has recently taken OGs in college early and moved them to OT. CAR did it in 2022 with Ekwonu. IIRC the Titans wanted to do this with Skronsi but have him at G.

What position you play on the OL in college doesn't matter in projection to LT. That projection is about traits.

Burrow was a grad transfer that fought for a starting spot for years before transferring because he had no path onto the field in a 1-slot position. Heard is talented kid still learning the line with plenty of opportunity here. This isn’t close to the same situation.

Burrow left with 2 years left until pro ball.

Heard may leave with 2 years left until pro ball

It also tells you everything you need to know about him. It is all about money. It is fine if his goal is LT because that is where is is projected and he wants to play there because it is the anchor of a line and commands top dollar. But it is also narrow minded and ignorant not to be flexible and learn as many positions as possible to make your even more valuable.

If this is about his position and not NIL, then our coaches are clearly doing a bad job of educating him on the actual NFL draft.

You've got one guy battling the flu, but will probably try to play through it.

You've got another guy sitting on his fat arse, getting even fatter on mom's cooking, while making demands that have to be met before he will even join the team again.

I know which one I would want as a teammate. The other one can keep his lard arse on the sofa.

I read comments like these and wonder if some of you are even living on earth. What do you think is going on here with Heard?

Def NIL related. I do think we match whatever he gets. If it’s playing time that could be bigger problem

Burrow was not going to see the field unless an injury occurred. Heard got playing time as a true Freshman and has an opportunity to earn a starting position, just not LT. Huge difference if you care to see it.
