For the life of me, I can’t comprehend how a minor is allowed to transition from male to female but not able to buy a cigarette or drink a beer until 18/21?

this usually comes with a caveat that they can deny you service. I dont have to serve your child alcohol just because the parents say it's okay.
Just like we shouldnt cut off kids dicks and breasts because their virtue signaling parents say its okay.
Just as a doctor can refuse to perform these gender related medical services.

He’s pretending to advocate for that. It’s not how it works out.
This is the conservatism that conserves nothing and has lost the culture war.

Not without fear of being destroyed .

Correct. You think DeWine says the same thing if an Ohio doctor was affirming body dysmorphic, anorexic, or bulimic school girls and giving them liposuction and lap band surgeries?

You sure about that?
Thats literal violence and genocide.
A dude couldnt refuse to bake a cake without having his life destroyed.

The same culture war you speak of is how the left justify things like censorship. In their culture - being mean on twitter is unacceptable.
Objectively - enforcing this law makes the right no better than the left. Using law to force their cultural beliefs on others.
Should we legislate morality? I say probably not. It’s a slippery slope. Let idiots be idiots (within reason) as long as it doesn’t impact others.

You let the Left reframe gender care as medical treatment. You let them reframe the dichotomy of male and female as a cultural belief.
And then you’re curious why conservatism lost the argument.

He acted like a good little "conservative". Conserving yesterday's progressive agenda. This isn't surprising.

Will the legislature override this idiot?
Posted on 12/29/23 at 12:22 pm to stout
He didn’t feel it was his place to stop a doctor from sawing a child’s penis off, but it was his place to veto this lawfully passed bill?

This right here is why the left wins and the right always loses.
This quote from No Country for Old Men is very apt. "If the rule you follow brought you here, then what was the point of the rule"?

Can the Ohio Legislature override the veto?

Yes, they can. If they want to.

Legislating morality is the only purpose of government. Pretending otherwise is hubris.
