It’s not as if a plethora of active coaches have. There are a whole lot of coaches making a whole lot of money that have yet to win it all.

I’m so tired of the defense bullshite. Had to build the roster with transfers. First year, we got branard converse, foucha and brooks and we got 10 wins and beat bama after two horrible seasons with O, all with house at d coordinator. This year they missed with pretty much all the dbs they took. He’s had two years to get in some freshman, so I’ll give it another year on defense.

Tim Beck won a D2 National Title. Now he’s the Offensive Coordinator at Vanderbilt.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. The reality is two of the transfers we brought in to help are apparently retarded and are gone. We are in a bad place at the moment.

Now, you can certainly disagree with him. But the narrative that LSU has failed in the portal is bullshite.

Div 2 doesn’t count. That’s like some high school coach being praised for some middle school wins in the past.

He said he "anticipated" it. Obviously the Heard thing surprised everyone and he thought it could still be resolved at the moment.
Also, coaches discussing personnel availability for a game and talking about broad recruiting strategies is a bit different.

They didn't progress at all, it would be one thing if they got better as the year went on but they were dog shite all season
