Saints and Pelicans just perpetually spinning their wheels

Can’t win anything. Can’t even tank properly

WTF are they actually doing?

Why do people make threads like this. The Pelicans suck but the Saints were one of the best teams from 2006 to 2020.

The Saints won a super bowl. Doesn’t matter that it was 14 years ago. The shite-tass Saints won a super bowl. Can’t expect much else.

The top rated player both times

However the OP said they can’t tank properly, isn’t the goal of tanking to get the #1 pick?

After the Brees bullshite for saying nothing wrong, I hope they lose every game until the end of time.

I always felt like apologizing was a dumb move. It’s essentially an admission of guilt that you did something wrong.

If you double down the mob will move on and find the next soundbite to be outraged about for a few days.

Does anyone even remember half of the things that were being protested that year?

I’ll give you the pelicans, but the saints have been extremely successful.

Won a Super Bowl and had the chance to play for another stolen from them. They made a mistake hiring career loser Dennis Allen, but let’s not pretend there’s been no success.

Time to support the third pro team in New Orleans, NOLA Gold.

and it's looking like that will be the only championship this city will EVER get... both organizations are pretty far away from being championship level, for various reasons

Because of Payton and Brees. Both are gone.

The player that every single team would've drafted if they had the top pick.

Saints won SB44. Should have went to at least one more SB but bad luck kept that from happening. It was a very good run for 15 years.

We will be going into a depression for the next 4-7 years until we get out of salary cap hell and find another elite QB.
