Streaming will be great they said. It’s about worse than cable now with everyone adding ads.

Well about two years ago they fricked up Amazon Music to the point that it is unlistenable, so this is par for the course.

It's basically just cable now, all these streamers doing their own thing plus commercials. And most of them aren't even really worth it. We've come full circle.

This is why I pirate everything and have no guilt. It should also be said that I have prime for ordering items.
The shows I pirate work 10 times better on pirating apps than trying to watch them on prime. If a new show comes out on prime today I'll watch it on my apps, they're less glitchy and way more functional.

There's a non ad option for an additional $2.99 a month.

Prime started out good and has just chipped away at the good. I barely watch it anymore

Man, if Amazon plays commercials during movies that I purchased....
It seems absurd, but once they raped Amazon Music, I could no longer directly listen to the music I had purchased through Amazon.

Part of Bezos' business model is to give his most loyal customers something for free, let them get in the habit of enjoying it on a daily basis, then charge them a "small monthly fee" to keep it.
• "Two Day Shipping!" (Well, when we can.)
• "Free Amazon Music!" (It's music. We just tell you what and when to listen.)
• "Free Prime Video!" ("We'll be back to Mrs. Maisel after this message.")
In the 60's and 70's we called those guys "pushers".

After they dropped $1B on that LoTR show nobody finished & S2 is around the corner, somebody's gotta pay.

It feels like streaming services, even the ones that aren’t for live TV like YouTube TV or Sling are, are eventually going to have the same problems as cable. By the time you pay for the different streaming services you want, you’re paying as much or more than you paid for cable/satellite. Now streaming services are wanting to add or increase advertising on their services.
