Vandy's OC search candidates - Joe Sloan (Vandy already hired another OC)

Just one of 10 names in the article, but you can be guaranteed that teams will be calling and from what I've read Sloan will likely shine in interviews. Not saying that's a reason to elevate him, but that is going to be the challenge to keeping him on staff.

I think QB coach at LSU is a better gig than OC at Vandy

I thought being the OC at LSU was better than OC at ND.

Two things can be true simultaneously even if it looks like they are not. Details make the difference.
The OC job at LSU is better than the OC job at ND when talking about just the job situation with other determining factors.
The OC job at ND may be a better job than the OC job at LSU for an individual when factoring in external things not related to the job of OC itself. Like proximity to family and where you want to live in your sunset years.

Other factors (proximity to home, North vs South, etc.) tips the decision

If LSU lets Sloan get away after The Denbrock departure I will be thoroughly disappointed
