Half that movie was bullshite. Just ask Joe Montana. Rudy was a Navy veteran. His tuition was covered by the GI Bill. Players never went into Dan Devine’s office and put their jerseys on his desk. There was no “Rudy” chant. He didn’t have an older brother. His father was actually very supportive as was Devine. All of the Notre Dame players with speaking roles were fictitious as well as the head groundskeeper. Hell, Rudy was one of 3 players to actually sack the QB on the final play.

I agree, even though they were the only undefeated team in the country and beat #2 Miami. I'd still have given Miami the title! So yes, definitely not legitimate. How can any of you doubt me being an LSU fan with these types of comments???
