Good Omens on Prime
Premise
An angel and demon who have been on earth so long that they've more or less abandoned their posts as they've gone native and become close acquaintances are called back into service by their respective sides when the infant Antichrist is mistakenly given to the wrong family, putting Armageddon in jeopardy.
Hilarity ensues.
David Tenant and Michael Sheen are quite possibly the most unsung comedic duo of the past 20 years.

Agree. Until the show turned them into a romantic duo.

For OP, you’ve gotten some awesome recs so far and seems like you’ve seen most of them. I assume you’ve seen The Leftovers too. Not really sci-fi or fantasy, but could hit some fantasy depending on your definition. It’s brilliant though.

Outer Range on Prime is very good so far.
Saw season 1 and liked it. Is season 2 out?

We have seen both. Lost in Space was great. Bodies was ok with quite a few eye rolling parts in it.

Yu Yu Hakusho
Again, Netflix.
Just getting into this one. Reminds me of RIPD but done Japanese cultural styled. Based off an existing Manga.
I never thought of myself as a weeb, but damn, with all the recommendations I'm giving...

My wife will not watched animated shows or shows with subtitles.

She watches Rick and Morty and Archer. I guess I should have said non comedy animated shows.

CHUCK, It is not sci-fi but the main character (Zack Levi) is super Nerd. You will thank me later.

Citadel, Night Agent, bodyguard, Mare of Easttown, Gilded Age, Big Little Lies, Undoing, the Recruit. Terminal List, Jack Ryan, Obliterated
I think that sticks to your streaming services.
If you are saying “I want syfy/fantasy and not animated,” my apologies for misinterpreting.
Shadow and Bone, Carnival Row, House of Dragon, Last of Us, Wheel of Time (meh, but fine) Locke and Key, Sandman, Lost in Space.
None of those are wholesale endorsements. Just mostly enjoyable “turn your brain off shows.”

Damn. That is a memory holed show for me. Loved season 1 but season 2 was brutal to get through and i just didn’t care at the end. I say that as a dude that loves Anthony Mackie in everything he does.

It’s a bit teeny (old CW series), but I thought The 100 was very creative and excellent.

Was considering this but the number of episodes is kind of overwhelming.
We decided to watch 6 feet under. We saw the first 5 or 6 episodes when it first came out but something happened and we lost track of it.

Night Agent is pretty good. I keep forgetting about Terminal List.
