His offensive approach isn’t particularly creative or difficult to decipher. He just had a really outstanding QB and WRs operating at a ridiculously high level this year. He knows those guys won’t be here next season and his offense (by default) is going to drop in production. Knowing that, he was smart to leverage this season, which is VERY likely the best season he will ever have, in to one last big payday. Either from LSU or (apparently) ND.

Losing him is not “nothing”. But it’s not devastating either. LSU can replace him.

Schematically I feel he relied too much on quarterback runs. He was very fortunate to be able to utilize Daniels talent.
