As the old old saying goes, They can try and put lipstick on this pig all they want, but people know they are paying way more than they should for things they have to have.
And they do not see anyone trying to help. They see a doddering old fool worrying about wars graft his political opposition and illegal immigrants, but not THEM.

Lots of independents and fence sitters are going to vote for Trump this time. Been saying this for a while now. It’s the economy. They are glossing over the fact that young people cannot buy a house.

Reporter tried to spin it with the fake numbers the administration puts out, and they were having none of it.

The problem with those northwestern voters is that they will say something like this and then follow it up with saying they will still vote for Biden because he gets the everyday man and is working hard for us.
I teach my kids that to understand America, you have to assume that every voter is the absolute dumbest frick that will ingest campaign slogans as fact and continually vote against their self-interest.

Are they all white people? What about in Philly? That's the people you have to convince.

Corporate profits are shattering records and conservatives are both spreading and believing the narrative that Biden is behind the scenes raising prices like a magic elf.
This is such a stupid timeline.

The stock market doesn't buy you pork chops. And the whole wages are up thing may be true but they are not even remotely keeping pace with prices.

you should only be allowed to vote if you are 25, paying taxes, not on welfare, & drug tested.

And, sadly, most of them will still vote for Democrats or Establishment RINOS.
I don't know where the line is that will cause typical Americans to do the opposite of what they've always done because their traditional voting habits are getting them nowhere... But I know I haven't seen them hit that line yet.
Even if/when they do, they'll be greeted by the ugly fact that the Establishment Uniparty controls the elections anyway and how you vote doesn't matter when someone like Ruby Freeman registers a few hundred fraudulent votes that completely nullify yours.

Corporate profits are shattering records
Many are rising, some surprising ones aren't (Oracle, FedEx, Dollar General, etc) and some are just barely up once you account for inflation (Costco, for example). Along with that, when looking at consumer debt and interest rates on debt, we see that much of those profits are happening due to consumers trying to offset continued high inflation on the backs of their credit cards. Those cards now have historically high interest rates and have been seeing a consistent rise in delinquency rates since their lows of Q4 2021.

While the Fed deservedly catches a lot of shite, they were correct in raising rates to fight inflation by draining excess liquidity from the economy. Biden's Inflation Reduction Act did the exact opposite by creating vehicles for hundreds of billions of stimulus (mainly for "green" companies, some of which have already Solyndra'd up). At the very least, Biden's plan extended the inflationary timeframe, if not (at least initially) intensified it.

It doesn’t matter when our choices are a pile of shite or a shite sandwich. The politicians are all the same, bought and sold by the highest bidder.

The Government and their propaganda machine (the media) will only be able to convince 30% of Americans the economy is good.
That is going to be a large hurdle the Democrats will have to overcome. My guess is they will overcome it by casting mail in ballots for the 40% of Americans who choose not to vote.

Anyone who isn’t a homesteader knows the economy is shite though.
