All the kids that were supposed to sign today did so

Looks for a few guys to get bumps after the AA practices and games.
Green, Cobbins, Billiot, and Keys lined up for the All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
Surprised the class doesn't have more guys participating. Especially players like Durham, Johnson, Reliford, McBryde, etc. who are already elite and would have a good shot to show out.

I honestly never realized how little our fanbase understood about recruiting and how many casuals flood to this board to troll. We have a terrible fanbase.

Billiot goes to FSU and becomes all-American and everyone bitches as to why we didn’t recruit him. You know the Rant said he was a 3 star and sucked and we take too many 3 stars. That’s why.

The difference in 5-10 is around 1 percentage point.
NIL has brought parity in recruiting. There’s no teams getting seven 5-stars like past years.
There are 21 5-stars on On3 that signed with 14 schools, including Weston Davis for LSU.

It’s just a bunch of negative bitches. If we signed McKinley they say oh great, he doesn’t have a dl coach. We didn’t sign him (yet) so they can bitch that we missed him. We didn’t sign Mack so they can bitch about that. If we signed him they say oh great, can’t wait to watch him underperform.

I dunno, it's no better than his predecessor and what we have done for the last several years running. But we need to get back to being top 3-5 and at least threatening to win the recruiting championship.
It's slightly underwhelming. How in the hell we having trouble getting a local kid from Lafayette who is a stud DT to come to LSU who has no defensive interior to speak of? Just baffling. And troublesome.
Finishing with 10 win seasons with this track record of recruiting thus far is about all you can expect moving forward. You just wasted your one best chance at a national title because you hired a buffoon as your defensive coordinator.

LSU dominated in-state recruiting better than any school in America. This was a slightly down year in Louisiana, which caused a minor dip in rankings.
Next year, LSU will similarly dominate the state and be top 5.

Does anybody remember the class that Miles had that filled alot of needs, and it was solid, but not stellar? I feel like this is that class. Of course, DT is what it is, we're just in the abyss at that position right now. Next year's class should be the one that breaks for LSU and Kelly's stint here.

Just get the coaches ready for 2025. Not enough game changers in Louisiana this year to get those 1-3 5* talents you can count on. However, if you land Dom, this all changes.
Overall, great class for depth but, it’s not acceptable to lose to Notre Dame and Auburn in recruiting. I’ll give it a B-. Getting Dom will bump it to an A imo. Add Bussey it’s an A+.
If you don’t dominate 2025-2026 in recruiting, Kelly won’t sniff a national title. No more excuses from this board.

According to On3, we aren’t behind either of them. The only reason we are behind them in the Industry rankings is because 247 doesn’t think Davis is a 5 star. If they elevate him or Green gets bumped up, then LSU will move ahead of one or both in the Industry rankings, as well.
But any of us who have been around here know you are using that particular ranking because your are pushing an agenda. If we sign McKinley, you will be on to bitching about something else.
