You know several of the 3* guys from Louisiana will be studs. Happens every year. This class may not have the highest ceiling we've ever signed, but the floor seems to be pretty high with a lot of pieces that will end up being great players.

The best thing about the class IMHO Crown, is it is Louisiana and Texas guys, who tend to stick around and develop.Its a backbone class, very solid, not too flashy, lots of character guys and depth pieces,with a chance at an epic class next year that satisfies all the star gazers. I particularly love the OL and linebackers and think when we look at the program circa 2026, this class will represent itself well. I give it a solid B .

LSU has also moved into a tie with Miami at 5/6 in On3’s own ranking. They show us at 5 because of the higher Avg Ranking.

Auburn is 10 spots below us in On3’s team rankings. And we are potentially flipping Echols from them. ND is 2 spots below.

No one is ever happy when it comes to recruiting. Could have a class full of 5* WR, RB at skill positions from all over the country and be ranked high. Then you’d have people complaining about not locking down Louisiana. This class as we were told was supposed to be heavy high school and Louisiana first. You have to look at the needs for the team. Now we can all complain about the DL position but retention was mentioned today during the presser. Looks like they are in a mode to get it done..

It’s been so easy to negatively recruit LSU with the swinging door of DL coaches. Are we even sure Lindsey is coming back? Unfortunate for Coach Lindsey and not to speak on his health but strictly football speaking coaches use that ammunition.
