Text book what I went through with my wife until I left in July after 23 years. I wasn't only sex. Once my son was born 15 years ago, she turned her back on me and then got me over time to give her everything she wanted through guilt. She was nothing more than a room mate for two decades, that didn't do anything at the home or pay for anything. She probably still thinks she is the victim and did nothing wrong, which is a shame. It took me years to figure things out being so close to the situation. I hate that I have to go through this at my age (52) and she gets half of everything I provided for but you get over that if you really need a change.

Choosing the right person to marry is one of the biggest decsions a person will ever make, good or bad.
It's safe to say after a while, neither party is as hot and heavy as the fresh dating time when everything is new. It'd be odd for that to last more than 2-3 years regardless.

To help understand the female mind, you have to recognize that women walk around in an essentially permanent state of what you would call "post-nut clarity". The way you feel the few minutes after nut, they are like that 24/7. They do not make enough of the relevant hormone - testosterone - to feel the same way you do revolving sex.
I've spoken to female bodybuilders who take test and they recognize the difference. Several said they had no idea how men walk around seemingly normal.

But when they decide to settle down & have kids they will pursue a clueless "good man" to be her provider.
