My take on Miles

Coach Miles is a great coach at a great school.
About winning with Saban's players:
The LSU class that won the NC last year barely knew Saban other than when he recruited them. Someone had to coach those guys up to D-1 standards over the 4 years they were at LSU and that was Miles and his staff, Saban was not even there.
For everyone that calls Miles an idiot and other names:
1st - he doesn't give a shite what you think
2nd - He is a multimillionair and has made that money coaching football so for all of you that "think" you know something about football becasue you played on some chickenshit pop warner team or high school team, Coach Miles has forgotten more about football than you will ever know.
3rd - He doesn't give a shite what you think (have I said that already?)
4th - You can't win a NC with someone elses players if you don't know what in the frick you are doing and also players don't belong to a coach, they play for the University so those kids were LSU's players not Saban's. Saban was not paying for their education.
As far as your team this year:
You had two "freshmen" QB's that got a lot of playing time and experience for next year.
Also worthy of mentioning:
Y'all are number 2 right now in recruiting, which is not bad for this "idiot" that y'all keep talking about. also, he has kept y'all in the top with respect to recruiting.
Oh...and by the way...Y'ALL HAVE WON THE frickING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2 TIMES IN THE LAST 5 YEARS.
Some of you guys are starting to sound like the BAMA fans you always make fun of. So think about that one for a minute.
When coaches start listening to fans it won't be long before they are sitting with them.

That's true, but look at how badly Les dropped the ball in 2006. Half those players aren't even on the team anymore.

He's right. And may I also mention that bashing our Head Coach DOES NOT HELP WITH RECRUITING. And before everyone gets all pissy and says well then I don't want so and so here anyway if they care what we post on a message board...shut up.
Whether you believe it or not, you are hurting the team you claim to love. And recruiting is that team's lifeblood. More people read these boards than you think. Both dmitch and Sonny have said that multiple times.
We can disagree with him, dislike him, whatever. But he's our coach.
And as Ric Flair once said, "Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because it's the best thing going. WOO!"

...and there is an art to that and Coach Bryant mastered it and look how that worked out for us.
