I met a girl from ES a couple of years ago. She was 35 at the time and is now pushing 45.

I’m talking with an ES girl now. She’s 45, looks 40 and her sexy arse accent is uh, sexy. She smart and very kind hearted and takes nothing for granted. She works specifically with Special Needs kids and volunteers a lot of her free time. She legal, not really sure how she became that way. Her 2 daughters are both very patriotic towards America, both active in ROTC and volunteered at a Wreaths around America ceremony all day on Saturday where the put homemade wreaths on fallen soldiers tombs. This was an incredibly important event for them.

They’re great Americans.

My experiences with Hispanics here in Texas have been largely positive. She cooks pupusas too which are like homemade Mexican hot pockets. Those things are amazing.

Hell if it becomes a safe country with good jobs I will move there. There is no way their culture is worse than here.

What we need to do is move all of our Chinese factories to Latin America

Mexico is becoming a manufacturing power house and surpassed China as our biggest trade partner. Just need to get the central and south American countries to advance as well. Combined all of the Americas could be an impressive alliance.

Why would you hope not? Would it be disappointing to you that their country is reshaped into a better place that people would like to visit?

You are against their policy of mass incarceration.

Yep. The ones that come here legally are generally great hard working people.

Absolutely this. As Mexico has industrialized and their economy improved, we're not getting many Mexican immigrants anymore. They're staying home because there are actually good manufacturing jobs there now. Being part of CAFTA, El Salvador is in a position to bootstrap themselves up if they can get their crime under control. Mexico is a mid-tier manufacturer, so Colombia and Central America could become the lower tier to replace China.

I've always wondered why there isn't an American free trade zone including all of North and South America. Anyone ought to be able to go anywhere in North or South America, work, pay taxes, and all goods/services exchanged without tariffs. Hate reliance on Asia? This is an easy answer.

been there twice. It really is a beautiful place. The violence needs to reduce about 10x before it can see its potential though

Uruguay. It's got beautiful, uncrowded beach resorts, and is 45 minutes by ship to Rio.

Maybe but it has a ways to go

My top account has 2 call centers there and everytime we send reps to audit them we have to hire 4-6 bodyguards and private car drivers

My buddy has been several times and said it’s a war zone.

The company had to move hours to close at 5 earlier this year because the city had a nobody out after dark in place.

You mean Buenos Aires, not Rio de Janeiro.
Rio is like 500 miles from Uruguay.
Buenos Aires is across the river.

Anything that results in me eating more papusas will be a good thing.

The reason there are so many Salvadoran immigrants in the US is because ES is an absolute shithole country where gangs, crime, and true poverty run rampant. It will take one hell of a turnaround for that country to become first worldish. This isn't to say there won't be pockets of tourist-safe areas but, yikes, it's not a very safe place. Food is great though!

I'm assuming you live in Texas which is where I am. I love the folks from all the Latin American countries. If we can just help them get some things under control as you said, I think these areas would be wonderful overall places. No one can challenge the work ethic of these folks and that's just a fact.
