The Oilers moved to TN and became the Titans. The Jazz still exist in Utah. Is this a serious question?

I’d be for it; the city has more right to the name than some carpetbagger in Utah.

Yea I know it was a different time then but not renaming the team after the move to Utah was kinda stupid.

Nothing screams Jazz culture like Salt Lake City..

Always wondered if everyone would be for the name change back to the Jazz if it were to become available or negotiated. I've never seen or heard of a musician from Utah. Utah Saltshakers maybe

Lets just make a Pels logo shaped like theirs. The music note can be a stylized pelican to make the P, then ELS on the same slant underneath it.

The reason that the Texans are not the Oilers is the Adams family, starting with old Bud back when Houston got an expansion team, refused to relinquish the rights to the Oilers name, colors, and trademarks. As far as they are concerned, the Oilers do not belong to the city of Houston but to the family. The McNairs never pushed the issue, probably to make a clean start.

Now I'm not a Houstonian, but I would surmise that returning the Oilers rights to Houston would probably go over very well and make the league and the team a lot of money, but such is life.

I wish the Pels would bring back the old Bucs ABA uniforms from several years ago. Unlike the Jazz, that team actually won some games.

I’d like to see a nod to the old Hornets uniforms.
