Currently comparing B&W and bulletproof hitches. I like the stow option of B&W but like the higher weight rating on the bulletproof for when I need to pull da travel trailer. What’s your experience with these and are there other brands I should look into?

I've had a b&w for 15+ years. Pulled a bumper pull 26' tt, kabota 6800 tractor, 24' bay boat with no issues.

I like my rapid hitch.

I have the BW and haven’t had any issues with it . I pull a small dozer (10k) and a mini excavator (11k) with it all the time . I’ll buy another when the time comes. It’s not cheap but they make good stuff.

Look at the Bulldog version of the B&W.
I find it to be a little more streamlined and the pintle hook is very well done.
Best hitch I have had.

I've been looking at the gen y hitch for my truck. I have a b&w in the bed and it's great. I don't have an adjustable hitch for my bumper yet.

Ever since that dude flipped his 36' yellowfin on the leeville bridge because his adjustable hitch broke, I stick with the plain old school single ball setup. It isn't any worse to swap the whole thing out than it is to adjust a b&w and it costs way less.
