I know nothing about consoles, is the Xbox Series X still a good buy?

I'm a single player guy, but my PC is starting to lag and I hate sitting in an office chair. Saw a deal on a 1TB Xbox Series X for $350 (console and 1 controller only). Was thinking about getting that and a gamepass.

well i think you should stay with PC :)
but if you need to get a console then yes the X is still quite good.
i prefer my ps5 for console gaming but if you had to choose just one, the X may be better simply because of game pass.

Its pretty damn good haha. Gives game pass a solid run for their money. I have both and right now all I'm using game pass for is Age of Empires 2 and Cities Skylines 2

Buy it. Get game pass.
I have both the Series S and X. The X is on the "big tv" and the S in a secondary place on a cheaper TV. Both perform admirably. I like the controller and the OS.
I bought both consoles in the PS3/PS4 generation but it's hard to justify the PS5 as a second console given how big and expensive it is. I was waiting for a "slim" version that might be cheaper but it turned out to be not much slimmer and not any cheaper.
Not saying XB is better...clearly it's not selling better than the PS5. But I've been an xbox-first guy since the OG Xbox.

Oh well you get jusant for free. thats literally the only game i would try because the other ones worth a shite i already got for free on ps plus.

Pretty much nothing, gamepass is heavily hyped by xbox fans on the internet. Imagine paying an entire year for it, and getting 1 or 2 games. WTF is the point.
I got a trial and messed with star field, it sucked, and cancelled. I don't think it's going to work out so well for xbox.

If you can't find games to play on game pass that you enjoy, then that's a you problem
