Nice video clip of JJ talking about Herb on Zach Lowe's podcast today. retro_pels on twitter did a nice job of syncing up highlights to JJ's gushing. It starts out with JJ narrating that play from last night where Herb defended and stopped Fox, Sabonis, and Monk all on the same play.

Herb should be this team D.Rodman or D.Green.He should only take 5 shots a game because you have real shooters on this team.

Nonsense. Herbs offensive game is excellent. He finishes at the rim as good as anyone on the team, has developed a great euro step, and has a more than respectable 3 point shot

What’s crazy is . Herb isn’t even close to the top odds for DPOY infact his like not even top 15 . Chet and Wemby somehow have much better odds .

You also undervalue the fact that other teams know who are shooters are too, those guys will take precedence on being covered over Herb Jones, so he has to take shots. He's obviously not nearly the passer of a Draymond Green, but he can make his mark scoring efficiently when needed.
