Does this seem completely disingenuous to anyone else? Everyone has to “be something” these days.
Bonus subject: Old gays don’t know what to do with themselves now that they’re not always fighting persecution. Check out this B.S. outrage piece from Out about the “brutal” backlash Billie Eilish has faced on social media, losing 100k followers on Instagram. She has over 110 MILLION….

I care more about the fact that people feel the need, as if there is some sort of required practice now, to have to publicly declare what you are or believe in.
Fun fact: nobody cares if you’re gay or straight in 2023. We care more about the attention whoring going on and want it to stop.

since the media refuses to accept the mathematical significance of denominators, i'll do it. she has 110,000,000 followers. she lost 100,000. that means one human out of every one thousand of her followers, unfollowed.
for comparison, my personal Instagram account full of hot takes has a following of 454 accounts (probably half bots). that's like me losing one half of one follower.

In the 80's and 90's, had a blast hanging out with my gay friends.
They were fun people to hang out with (and usually had access to the best drugs).
