re: Where the Jameis fanboys at now?

Jameis was 2 for 5 including 3 awful throws in a row in crunch time. To be fair, that's more on Pete. Taysom was scrambling for about 5 yards a pop, but Pete had to look clever.
And one of the two completions should have been intercepted.

Who gives a shite
Hope the Saints get their arse kicked the rest of the year to force change.

Right here. Jameis is a better starting QB than Carr. So is Dalton. So is Baker.
The entire offence dislikes Carr. You can't win like that.

Drafting Carr instead of rolling with Jameis for one year will frick this franchise for the next 6 years.
We needed a complete rebuild anyhow. The Carr signing sucks, but in the NFL we could be back as soon as 2025 in regards to truly competing.
Everybody saying we need to dump Loomis , I don't agree with that. IMO he deserves the chance to rebuild this team like he did in 2006 and again in 2015/16. He's been pretty successful all things considered. He misfired on Allen and Carr, but I say you can justify Allen when you look at Belichik's first tenure and how he needed a second chance.
Carr was bad. Are we sure Penning is bad though? This coaching staff has made some strange decisions with Grupe and the punter and seemingly with Penning.

I'm not saying Carr is great. I am saying Jameis stinks way worse.

Hill is better than both Carr and Winston just because he can actually run the football. Hill and Kamara on the field together opens up a whole plethora of offensive options. But, no...let's run speed option with a guy that can't get hit so he pitches it way too early.
ya, calling that play there should be enough to get any coach fired.
maybe if carr was even a marginal running QB i could see it, but he isnt and even wacked out meth heads knew carr was never gonna run with it so itys easy to defeat that play for a loss.

There should not be a post in this thread that doesn't mention Pete Carmichael and how atrocious he is as a OC.

Carr and Jameis both need to be offloaded. I would rather lose watching Taysom start.
Watching Carr is infuriating. He constantly makes unnecessary throw-aways when receivers are empty underneath. I notice this consistently on 1st and 2nd downs. This sets up an inevitable 3rd and long sack or checkdown short of the sticks. If he had made the checkdown on second down instead of throwing it away to the sideline, the underneath throw on 3rd would have been enough for a 1st. He also completely melts down in the red zone, and extremely rarely takes chances throwing deep passes downfield.
Jamieis is pathetic. He makes terrible reads over and over again. He’s like Brett Farvre, but zero clutch or discernment. He just constantly throws it up for grabs. Sometimes it works for a big score, but half the time its a pick. I question his eyesight. Dude just can’t help but throw it right at defenders.
Carr and Jameis need to be gone next year, I don’t care how bad the cap hit is or how great a locker room guy Jameis is.

I hear ya, but shite receivers that can't create space and give up on routes. An OL that let's edge defender get behind carr before he can hit his drop. Joe Montana would be in a coma with this offense. Defense getting gashed up the middle, entire team is a shite show and there is no fixing it this year.
Carr should just quit, go home and sit on the couch with his kids eating popcorn and laugh his arse off.

Taysom can't run a traditional NFL offence. He'd be injured in 3 games or less and he'd likely be exposed in the passing game when he went to throw it 20 times per game.
He's being used better now than at any time in his career with the Saints - that's the one thing that Allen and PC have gotten right IMO.

For the second time, Carr has led the team into a deficit and fans are mad that Winston didn't play the hero after Carr had the team behind.
I am 100% in the really wish we had not signed Carr group; but not so sure he should be blamed for the deficit we were in Sunday. He had nothing to do with our defense being awful in the first half and I can't blame him for a pick that hit Johnson in the hands. He actually played pretty damn well Sunday until he was piledriven into the turf.

Time to show Winston the door, Carr the bench and start Mr Fresno St

Wait, this actually makes sense and is about football. Who are you and what have you done with Sir Winston?

Four qb have played for DA now and none look great HOWEVER it’s obvious that only one is hated by his teammates. For that reason alone Carr will not succeed here. If nothing else it’s obvious the team plays harder for Jameis

Hey Proximo, how do you plan on paying up on your 1k bet?

I think he should start this week even if carr is healthy. Carr is in “save him from himself” territory right now. He’s banged up, getting booed, and could probably use the mental/physical break. Reevaluate the situation going into the next game. If we can’t beat carolina at home with either of them we are beyond doomed.
