Morning y'all
How I feel this morning
After a month plus of dealing with TMJ, I've finally gotten relief this week. The cure? Physical therapy. Apparently my posture was quite bad looking down at phones and computers to the point it was straining my neck, shoulder, and jaw muscles. Two PT treatments so far stretching out those muscles and I don't have that dull constant pain in my jaw. Truly amazed no one has suggested that as treatment until a few weeks ago

gm all
I texted my orhto dude in memphis, he's out of town and will get back to me when he returns. He takes the entire month of december off, so when he lets me know who he recommends in your area, i'll email you back.
I'm glad you're finding relief. the PT I saw for a while is certified in MDT therapy and that helped me for a good long while.

I'm honestly shocked that PT is working because it seems simple enough to just stretch out everyday and do those exercises outside of the PT office. How long did you have success with MDT for? Doesnt sound like it solved your TMJ though...

no, it didn't solve the TMJ issue itself, but the stretches I was taught, help relieve the headaches when I get them.
the only thing that has helped me long term has been the botox injections and orhto to reposition my jaw joint.
