Rump sweets. The smell when everyone stands up at the end of church. Terrible! (especially wooden pews in the Summer)

Favorite is cinnamon rolls or bread fresh from the oven.

Old Catholic churches in New Orleans.
The smell of a candle after it’s been blown out.
The smell of a forest in Maine after a rainfall on a 40° day.

I read this every year at Christmas time. It is set in the last week of December.

Absinthe to drink with extra sharp cheddar on cracked pepper crackers.

Favorite: fresh Southern Maid donuts

Least favorite: pet snake poop

Edit: Seriously, if you’ve never smelled snake poop, it is the worst. The closest second is a mouse escaping from your pet snake and dying in your house.
