The butthurt sho is prevalent in this thread from the DeSantis fans.

I'm sorry your guy's campaign is in the shithouse and you're lashing out in sadness and frustration.

Yeah the idea is that if and when you endorse or otherwise support someone, that in no way means that you’re required to agree with everything. Even open criticism in various areas of difference is perfectly ok. I thought that was the lesson anti-Trumpers had been lecturing the “cultists” on this whole time. “You don’t have to agree with every single thing.” What happened to this lesson?

Tucker is a Populist not a Right Winger. There is a fundamental difference.

To answer your question though I would say Matt Walsh and Steve Deace off the top of my head. Both are consistent conservatives down the line.

Tucker turned down a shite ton of money for a different show. In one of the interviews where he talked about it, he seemed to refer to him as not being “very rich” which we all know isn’t true. It was the one of him in a cabin or something, where he said he was worried Trump’s life was in danger. Maybe he’s being somewhat honest but he and Musk are cooperating together trying to get Trump elected and I think Tucker is going to run in 2028 as another populist type (“I’m one of you”). Tucker found out the not-so-hard way that if he doesn’t endorse Trump his future in the Republican Party is over. Not mad about it, I’ll vote for him, but, that’s what I think is happening here.

Wow... now that's an endorsement, from a man I admire and respect. Says it all.

Meanwhile, we have some folks even just amongst us here on this little corner of the internet who “voted for Trump twice, but” then came around to arguing on behalf of the pursuit of Trump by the government, beginning in earnest with the raid of his personal residence.

Some absolutely terrible takes in this thread. Tucker is one of the best, most well-reasoned, and most able to articulate a conservative point of view "journos" out there in the "media."

I voted for Trump twice and every Rep before him. Wouldn't ever do it again.
If Trump or Biden win, it really doesn't matter at that point. Our country is totally fricked by either of them being President.

Now Tucker Carlson is just "a California RINO".

I would say I've seen it all on this board now, but I'm pretty sure CelticProg, HHTM/Jon Ham, and rmnldr are all still active and will post something as equally asinine or greater before the end of the night.
