I’ve noticed an absence of talk about JD in regards to the NFL draft. Neither Dan Patrick and Cowherd mentioned him today while discussing QB’s who will be in the upcoming draft.
I say it’s intentional in order to help Nix win the Heisman.

Yeah, my brother lives in Washington State, says most people there wouldnt even know who JD is.
Unless Bo throws three picks Saturday, hes already on deck for the award.

Nah. They’re doubtful about Daniels. A lot like many of the posters on this board last year, through spring practice, and fall camp.
Winning the Heisman is a chore for him for two reasons 1) LSU has three losses (not shiny enough), 2) media markets are larger on the West and East coast. They play to the eye ball numbers.
But Daniels is clearly the best player in D1 football against the most difficult competition. I think that wins out in the end.

I feel very confident the west coast and other major markets outside of the SEC geography do not want UGA/Bama to win the national title again and do not want an SEC player winning all the awards.

Daniels is from the west coast and played in the pac12, so I’m sure he will get a lot more support than people think.
