Maybe just good value knowing Nix will play an extra game.

“A lot”, he is a slight favorite bc he has a prove it game. He probably can win it or lose it Friday night, but it’s a push at this pint

If Penix wins and doesn’t break records in the process, it’s over.

That has to be it, because the fact that he threw nearly double the passes against the nations no. 35 ranked defense yet still only put up 31 points to our guys 42 against the Nations no. 10 defense and has less yards per attempt than JD5, and only two TD passes to 4, should definitely not shift the odds.

Its sad but the reality is most voters will watch the games Saturday and they will be the only game on Saturday night for the country to see.

If he wins and has a good game he will unfortunately win.

Out of sight out of mind sucks.

I think it was Sam Acho who said, "yea, but he ain't gonna rush for a thousand yards," in this extra game.

Sucks that Nix may win this after the year JD5 has had. So many stats tell the truth, but unfortunately voters don’t review everything. JD has put a team on his back to take them to 9-3 and w/o him LSU is at best 7-5 being generous. Just look at the game film and look…JD has been the best player in college football this year in which the award states the most outstanding player. Don’t get me wrong Nix has really good and has had a very good year BUT JD5 deserves it. I can go on and on but to deny JD5 of this would be a travesty!

Oregon is a 10 point favorite against UW.

They think he will have a big game.

Unfortunately there are many that are impressed with Nix' ability to throw it 2 yards downfield.

Just ignore 1,000 yards rushing and look at a few passing categories along with the team record.

Betting odds this late don’t mean shite:

It’s jackasses laying money on crappy value moving the odds.

No he ain't and the reality is his passing stats still won't be as good if you go per game. But unfortunately if he has that moment on that stage....

Well, based on how each has played this year, a Nix win means that it is rigged.

Isn’t it set up that all the voters get their ballots this week and that majority usually already have their votes in by next Saturday? One of the other posters in mentioned that. If that’s the case, then I feel like Daniels will have a great shot.

Edit*** found the information

Monday, November 27: Heisman Ballots are distributed to electors.
Monday, Dec. 4: Deadline for Heisman ballots to be submitted.
Monday Dec. 4: The 2023 Heisman finalists announced.
Saturday, Dec. 9: The announcement of the 2023 Heisman Trophy Winner via the televised Heisman Ceremony on ESPN. (Private Event)
Sunday, Dec.10: The 89th Annual Heisman Dinner Gala.

That's how it works. When most bets are being placed on one person or team they will change the odds to get people to place bets on others so that they don't just lose tons of money.
