Orb Weaver of some sort.

That’s an invasive (from Asia) Joro spider. NE Georgia is covered in them now.

Started showing up here in GA about 8-9 years ago.
Speculation is that they originated from an Amazon fulfillment center in Braselton.
The females are large like the one in your image. The males are 1/10th the size and are often mistaken for juveniles.
They do not present any threat to humans or local ecosystems so, unless you're afraid of "icky bugs" they won't bother you.
The added bonus is that they build large webs that help reduce the flying insect population.
