I had to rewatch some of that just now, thanks. I forgot how good they played. Stapp sang Higher beautifully live. If I didn’t know better I would say he was lipsyncing. Also when he transitioned from Higher to My Sacrifice……. that was sweet! Dudes flying in the air, that’s a tough show to beat.

Main takeaway is how horrible Greg Gumbell was. We had to live through that shitbag being the #1 CBS play by play man for far too long

I liked Creed. I remember seeing them at the Baton Rouge Rivercenter circa 2001. I still listen to their first album. All that said, I think this performance was the exact moment they jumped the shark. Grew out landing strip chin beards and flew a little too close to the sun.
