Personally I can't wait for the excuses some of yall will come up with next year.

You would rather gloat about your negative bullshite being right than you would like to see LSU win?

GTFO and go get you a trailer in Alabama; we don’t need you

I absolutely want lsu to win. But the narrative that bk is the greatest coach on the planet is getting very old. He is a good coach, but he is not a great coach nor is he elite by any stretch of the imagination.

Overall bk is 18-7 (72%)

Vs top 25 bk is 3-5 (38%)

Vs top 10 bk is 2-4 (33%)

Now let's hear your excuse for that without saying that he took over a team with 39 scholarship players.

Another question for you... When will these built in excuses stop? The general consensus seems to be after year 3 with 3 full recruiting cycles. If that is your answer, that's fine and I'm ok with giving this geriatric frick another year to prove me right.

The fact is that bk's record thus far is mediocre.

The funny thing is that the majority of posters are clowning Lincoln Riley for being 18-8 @ usc, claiming that he is a complete failure. If we lose this game bk will be 18-8 @ lsu. Bk made some very questionable hires on his defensive coaching staff and he isn't taking nearly enough heat for it in my opinion. Saying that he took over a team with only 39 scholarship players isn't going to fly for much longer. Personally I can't wait for the excuses some of yall will come up with next year.

Lincoln Riley didn’t lose his 4 game starting DBs, best defensive lineman, and defensive line coach.

Brooks Jr - Team Captain and best player capable of calling the backend defense.
Alexander - Corner
Johnson - corner - injury in fall camp
Chestnut - corner

Lindsey - dline coach

I'm 43 years old. I have 12 season tickets and I donate to taf, bayou traditions and the greg brooks victory fund. Nice try. Lol

Lincoln Riley also didn't keep his defensive coordinator on staff when it was blatantly obvious that he was terrible at his job.

I would rather face Max than a running QB. At least we know where Max will be, and I have never been impressed with his accuracy.

A- No one is saying Kelly is the best coach in America. Only you are to further an agenda and try to set up these arguments to look realistic.

B- 72% isn’t a mediocre winning percentage for a rebuild situation by any stretch. Not even close. Billy Napier’s record over two seasons is, but that’s not what we are getting here.

C- The criticism of Riley is due to the media hyping USC as a lock for the playoffs when they were actually not any better off than we were. Plus, they have lost multiple games to teams that had less talent or were struggling (Tulane, Utah, ND and UCLA). Other than A&M last year, which actually had more talent but we still should have beaten as much as they were struggling, who has LSU lost to under Kelly that wasn’t an equal or better team at the time?

Kelly isn’t perfect. He’s been very good given the circumstances, but things still need to improve. We should expect him to make a home run DC hire (which he did the 3 previous times out at ND) and get the defense fixed and recruiting improved on that side of the ball. What we currently have is fine as the floor, but steady improvement and runs at SEC and Playoff need to follow in the future. No one is claiming Kelly is perfect or that any of the above doesn’t apply.

Doesn't A&M have some long SEC road losing streak?

Ags will score but not win. LSU 45-35.

Bottom line is that A&M will be starting a green qb that is playing his first road game. We will get more stops than we have been getting, not because our defense is good, but A&Ms offense won’t execute at any type of high level. They have a secondary that’s not good and unlike them, we have the oline, weapons, and a decent qb that will exploit that. A&M has a big dline and pretty good pash rush but that hasn’t been an issue for JD, who uses it to his advantage. LSU wins this one comfortably.

So please enlighten us on who you would’ve hired thatd be undefeated at LSU? Or which teams would CBK have needed to beat for you to believe he’s successfully rebuilding the team from where it was when he took over ALL THOSE MANY YEARS AGO?

Ah yes, the "who would you have hired" defense.

I just don't get it. Why can't you just admit that bk has done a not so great job in the big games. 0-2 in season openers. In his 1st 15 games, he had 3 blowout losses of 20 points or more.

For everything good, he has also had something bad.

He beat Alabama in year 1, by 1 fricking point, in overtime on a 2 point conversion. That play is a coin flip. That was by no means a dominant victory. Yes we won and in the end, that is all that matters. But don't sit there and act like we beat them in convincing fashion.

He followed that huge win by losing to a 5-7 A&M team. That loss cancels out the Alabama win in my opinion.

Bk won the west in his 1st year. Oh boy, that's wonderful.

Bk got blown out at home by Tennessee and also laid an egg in another blowout loss to Georgia. Those 2 losses cancel out winning the west.

That leaves us with starting both seasons with losses to fsu due to terrible coaching hires. Year 1 was horrible special teams, this year its horrible defense. I guess next year is a natty, right?

Remember, bk himself said that we were a year away from competing for a championship before this season began.

Only time will tell if he will get us there. But thus far, he has done nothing to impress me or warrant a 100 million dollar contract.
