I think that the imagined supply of potential significant others has crippled our ability to find contentment. Studies have shown that oftentimes when people have too many options, they have difficulty making decisions and can have issues with choice overload. I think people greatly overestimate in their heads the amount of suitable partners they're "missing out" on and this leads them to second thoughts and a general lack of satisfaction with their decisions. The interconnectivity of the internet has given people so many options for dating that it's overwhelming and is ripe for causing cold feet.
The sad irony is that people are so enamored with the fake lives that others live on social media coupled with the FOMO phenomenon that more and more people are leaving solid relationships to "see what is out there" only to find that the oasis they were seeing was nothing but a mirage.

Every human can learn a lot by a divorce if they’re willing to look in the mirror. This lady needs a mirror.
I’m always amazed people that lack the ability to question themselves when involved in anything that goes sour. So many people just call everyone around them idiots and move on. I see it in the professional workplace all the time.

Most women want the instagram life.
They want to be able to post pictures of themselves doing “the perfect life” type stuff. They don’t want a life that is normal or a relationship that you build and work towards

Its not an isolated opinion. There has been a huge thing on the left of attacking VICTIMS for calling the police because the perp is black. They claim that they are the ones at fault because the police could kill the black person and too many black people are incarcerated.
Not a joke. This is real.

Some of us are just winners and dont ever have to deal with this and I am so thankful for that.
Also, seems like her papa knew she shouldnt let this guy go.
It seems like while women say they are "settling" they dont take into consideration they are getting older plus in her case the doors have been blown off once already.

single mothers today dont realize the decreased value they are worth. its just a plan fact, if you are coming with a child you are just less desirable.
if a guy accepts your kid and is good to them, good to you, and is a reasonable person you should be thanking your lucky stars.

I explained this very thing to a young guy a few weeks ago.
Social media provides a very wide-reaching view, but it fails to account for scale - meaning people see a certain thing a LOT, making it appear to be common when, in proportion to the population, it's actually a very small %.
Example: Chick parties and whores her way through her 20s and early 30s, then just before the clock runs out, she marries a partner at a PE firm, spits out a couple of kids, lives in a 5500sqft home, and vacations in Santorini.
That scenario appears to be common, because they see it all the time on the 'Gram...when, in reality, maybe 1 in 50 are able to pull it off, and only if they're smoking hot.
So women think "I'll do that too!" ... and then they wind up one of the 49/50 who learn the hard way.

I just can't imagine being in my home while it's broken into for example and taking even a single milisecond to consider the race of the person breaking in. Who gives a rat and monkey's lovechild what the perp looks like, he's a damn criminal and deserves to be arrested like any other criminal!
