Sam Altman not returning to OpenAI. Hired by Microsoft to start new team

Microsoft acted quickly, considering its share price is heavily tied to OpenAI. Looks like Sam is taking all the talent with him.

Nadella said Altman and Brockman will be joined by “colleagues.” Former OpenAI top talent Szymon Sidor, Jakub Pachocki, Aleksander Madry are joining Microsoft with “more” to follow suit, Brockman said in a post on X.

All the talent is leaving or will leave OpenAI, then it will tank. Microsoft will buy it up and install Altman back in charge and the rich only get richer.
