Our QB room is too good. Hurley is a proven winner and leader and will come in and sit under Nuss next year. No reason to add anyone else if you feel Underwood is coming in 2025.

I’d bet it’s Ole Miss.

That article says LSU will need a new QB after JD leaves. They're wrong, the Nus Bus will be rolling next year.

I think Manning will be a good college quarterback at some point, but sitting for a couple of years is what's best for him. I don't see him transferring because of that. Of course, if it turns out that he just doesn't like being at Texas for non-football reasons, it's possible that he leaves.

As far as Walker Howard, I don't see him starting at Ole Miss. Kiffin will have another quarterback or two when Dart leaves. Or maybe Lane is at A&M by then.

Archie would never let any family member come to LSU. He hates LSU. That will never happen.

Not that he’s coming here, but if any of these tweeters watched the book of manning, Arch is the one who said LSU. How none of them talk about that in this very unlikely scenario is beyond me.

Arch might have a higher ceiling than Nussmeier but he isnt better right now. His best option is to sit another year at Texas and then start the following year.

That article is trash. They say he will go somewhere to be qb1, then put him in Alabama who will still have Milroe, and USC, who signed a better prospect than Manning in the same class.

Manning

Why would he come to LSU. He would still be a backup like he is at Texas.

If Manning is truly wanting to transfer, that's telling me he knows he cannot beat out Murphy, so he wouldn't be starter for at least 2 more years. I believe he would sit behind Ewers at QB2 knowing he's injury prone and would get some snaps.

Manning is still a very unknown commodity. He played at a smaller class school and didn't go to the big camps or national 7 on 7 tournaments. Even with his name, I still can't figure out what the basis for his 5 star rating.

I still believe he was held out of all the camps to cover for him not being as good as his uncles and keep his high ranking based on his name.

He wouldn’t start next year and underwood is a better prospect

would we even want Manning?

would be perfect to see him sit on the bench in Oxford for three years.

Papaw Archie not about to let a Manning play at LSU, ever.
